Gracie is 5 years old and it is fun to play with her. She is always nice and asking what your name is. The best remark I have heard so far is, “what’s your name, Caleb?” She loves to have company. When we went over to her house and walked in the door Gracie yelled, “CHILDREN!” She absolutely loves to jump, sing to you, and lie down in her bed and talk to you. She also likes to be read to and to be picked up. She says, “make me fly, Caleb!” By that she means she wants to be held up in the air above my head. If you leave, she will ask “where did you go”? She does not like to be left alone. And boy, she really loves warm coffee! If you tell her something, most of the time she makes a joke about it or makes a funny remark. When Gracie asked me how old I was, I told her I was 10, and she said in disbelief “10? you are old!” But, when I told her how old my great grandpa was (86), she said “you’re kidding, you have got to be joking.” I said no, I am not kidding. She got a kick out of that one! She is always saying something like, you’re my friend or I love you. Last time she told me, “you are in my heart forever.” There is one more thing: you can’t resist giving her hugs. And she will not let you leave without her giving you a hug either. I hope you drop by and see Gracie some time soon.By: Caleb YeagerAge 10
